Role Overview

Are you a passionate, articulate, and goal-oriented professional with a strong understanding of international higher education systems?

We are seeking a Student Counsellor / Education Consultant (Remote) to join our advisory team. In this role, you will serve as a primary guide for prospective international students—evaluating academic profiles, identifying strategic university and scholarship opportunities, and navigating applicants seamlessly through the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Advisory & Consultations: Conduct 1-on-1 virtual consultation sessions to assess students' academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and financial requirements.
• University & Program Shortlisting: Curate tailored lists of top-tier universities, degree programs, and funding/scholarship options aligned with student profiles.
• Application Strategy & Review: Guide students through application requirements, offering strategic feedback on Statements of Purpose (SOPs), CVs, recommendation letters, and essays.
• Scholarship & Funding Guidance: Help students identify, structure, and submit competitive scholarship applications.
• Pipeline Management: Track applicant milestones, conduct timely follow-ups, and ensure all application materials are submitted ahead of institutional deadlines.
• Client Experience: Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the student journey, maintaining professional, empathetic, and clear communication.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Business, Communication, or a related field (Master's degree or international study experience is a strong advantage).
• Demonstrated knowledge of higher education systems and admissions requirements in destinations such as the US, UK, Canada, Europe, or Australia.
• Prior experience in study-abroad advisory, student counseling, academic advising, or customer-facing consulting roles.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational habits with high attention to detail and ability to track multi-client timelines.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet) and client communication tools.
